植物素材×軽量構造で実現するサステナブル構造デザイン
私達の研究室では「植物素材」と「軽量構造」の2つのコンセプトを軸に，環境負荷を小さく抑え，かつ安全性とデザイン性に優れた「サステナブル構造デザイン」を研究しています。植物は有限の資源とエネルギーを上手に使った「最適デザイン」のお手本です。自然に学び，自然を活かした美しい建築構造を探求します。
Sustainable Structural Design Lab
Sustainable Structural Design Based on Plant-Based Materials and Lightweight Structures
Our laboratory conducts research on “Sustainable Structural Design” with a focus on two core concepts: “Plant-Based Materials” and “Lightweight Structures.” Plants serve as models of “Optimal Design,” skillfully utilizing limited resources and energy. By learning from nature and harnessing its potential, we aim to create architectural structures that are not only environmentally responsible but also safe and aesthetically refined.

2003 Graduated from the Department of Architecture, School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University.
2005 Completed M.S. in Architecture, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University.
2006–2009 Research Associate, Waseda University.
2009–2011 Research Fellow, The University of Tokyo.
2009–Present Partner, First-Class Architect Office Eureka.
2011–2019 Assistant Professor, School of Environmental Science, The University of Shiga Prefecture
2019–Present Lecturer, Faculty of Environmental Science, The University of Shiga Prefecture
